Cool to see this yellow-painted MultiMAX in action in South Africa, where heavy-transport and rigging specialist Vanguard has added two of these 7-axle vehicles to its fleet.
The semi-trailers feature a hydraulic gooseneck for top maneuverability, an extendable loading platform, a reinforced steel deck, and removable ramps for easy machinery loading. The project shown here took place in Coega Port, where several wind-turbine nacelles are being transported to their installation site.
Alongside these two new Faymonville semi low loaders, Vanguard also recently took delivery of 32 SPMT axle lines and power pack units from Cometto.
South Africa’s growing wind-energy projects demand reliable heavy-transport solutions, and Vanguard is tackling these oversized loads with ambition and the necessary transport technology.
