As a low loader duo through Bad Feilnbach

AS Erdbau and Kögl Recycling strengthen with Faymonville semi low-loaders.

The two successful Bad Feilnbach-based companies AS Erdbau and Kögl Recycling are situated within sight of one another. In order to better handle the respective transport tasks in their daily work, both companies rely on new semi low loaders from Faymonville.

Two multifunctional vehicles for the transport of bulldozers, wheel loaders, crushers and dumpers will be doing the rounds in the south of Munich from now on. Genuine all-rounders for operation between building sites and the company yard.

AS Erdbau widens low loader with infinite variability at the push of a button

The enterpriser Andreas Scheidl and his team of 24 people are active in the fields of demolition, earthworks and civil engineering. The latest addition to the vehicle fleet is a 4-axle MultiMAX semi low loader. A special feature of the vehicle is the hydraulic width adjustment of the loading platform.

The infinitely variable widening from 2,540 mm to 3,200 mm enables the loading platform to be precisely adapted to the width of the machine being transported. This process is carried out by the driver with the simple push of a button on his remote control. The laborious laying of outrigger boards is eliminated. That considerably facilitates the driver's work. Optimum safety, simple operation, maximum convenience and a considerable gain in time when loading and unloading: those are the convincing advantages of the hydraulic widening. Faymonville offers this technology with many variants from the MultiMAX semi low loader range.

In addition, an excavator arm can be placed in the integrated excavator trough at the rear of the low loader. The loading platform is 8,600 mm in length and can be telescopically extended by a further 2,900 mm.

Wheel recesses provide Kögl Recycling with flexibility

The core competencies of Kögl Recycling e.K. are the areas of mobile recycling, mobile natural stone treatment, demolition work and workshop service. A 1+3-axle semi low loader of the type MultiMAX is now also used for the mobile material treatment.

Permanently integrated wheel recesses in the loading platform between the first and second axles stand out as a special feature. Together with the wheel recess in the extension, dump trucks and wheel loaders can be moved in a height-optimised manner. Load-bearing covers are inserted if a straight loading platform is required instead of the trough.

The loading platform is 8,800 mm in length and can be telescopically extended by a further 2,800 mm. Thanks to the sturdy double ramps with rubber covering, the semi low loader does not need to be uncoupled for loading. In the folded-up state, the width of the ramps is less than 300 mm. As a result, they are not included in the calculation of the overall length of the vehicle combination according to the EU regulation 1230/2012.
