As strong as Hercules

Heavy load projects in the Philippines are often handled by the blue modular fleet from our customer Hercules Transport Inc.

This time, the company has been asked to move four 110 tons transformers from the unloading point at the harbour to the installation site. The specificity of this job is the fact that for the different transport steps, different configurations need to be combined.

For the unloading process from the ship, a 10-axle modular trailer type ModulMAX has been used due to the lack of ground clearance.

Different modular trailer combinations for one job

For the main part of the route, they packed the transformers on their CombiMAX vehicle that has been assembled to a 3+5 low bed. This low loader type allows to underpass different bridges and power lines.

And for the last kilometers, the freight was re-loaded onto a 10-axle combination from their ModulMAX fleet. In this way, the combination becomes as short as possible to pass tight curves.

With its modular vehicle parc by Faymonville, Hercules is ideally equipped to master such complex heavy haulage projects. Congratulations to the team for this fantastic job!
