Jan Jongsma B.V. from Steenwijk has expanded its fleet with a brand-new Faymonville MegaMAX lowbed trailer. The project has been defined thanks to the fruitful collaboration with our Dutch partner Hertoghs Carrosserieën.
This new trailer is designed for the transport of oversized cargo such as tanks, silos, vessels and other exceptionally high or wide freight.
The vehicle is a Faymonville MegaMAX with a hydraulically widenable vessel bridge. The loading platform between the outer beams can be extended up to 3.75 metres, making it ideal for transporting bulky items like large storage tanks, tall crates and extra-wide industrial equipment.
In addition, the trailer features:
- Pendle axles with high stroke for optimal manoeuvrability
- Extending length up to 22.7 metres, plus additional 5 metres extension beams, for a total deck length of 27.5 metres
- Ground clearance up to 80 cm beneath the beams
