Ter Linden transport with Vestas wind blades

At the port of Antwerp, wind blades type V-162 from Vestas are installed on a Faymonville blade adapter.

The Faymonville Group provides complete solutions for the wind energy sector.

Extendable flatbeds for the latest mega wind blades, lowbeds for nacelles and tower segments, blade lifters for the “last mile” and also special equipment such as these blade adapters that are in use for the Dutch specialists from Ter Linden Transport b.v..

This technology allows to get more maneuverability than classic trailers with longest freights.

The first mission with this new set-up has been completed successfully by Ter Linden.

At the port of Antwerp, wind blades type V-162 from Vestas with a length of 80 meters and a weight of 31 tons form a total combination length of 92 meters.

These blades will be installed at the project site in Maasvlakte in the Netherlands.
