The Sumbawa island in Indonesia is best known for its waves, sandy beaches and wild terrain. Behind these touristic aspects, our customer CKB Cipta Krida Bahari PT plays a crucial role so that also the infrastructure projects will be driven forward.
For heavy duty jobs in the local industrial port or over the island, the team received now 20 modular axle lines type ModulMAX from Faymonville. The modules offer a payload capacity of 45 tons per axle line.
In drawbar mode, the trailer can be assembled in a 2-file or even side-by-side as 4-file configuration.
To master the difficult road conditions, each wheel set is equipped with a hydraulic suspension cylinder. The well-thought combination of cylinders ensures that the weight is distributed equally over all axles. Road inclinations - lengthwise and crosswise - can easily be compensated due to the considerable stroke of these cylinders.
Our modular expert Ady spent some days in Indonesia for a detailed instruction session. Together with the CKB crew, different trailer scenarios have been assembled so that the modular transport missions can start.
As the customer has already some Cometto modules within in its fleet, the experts are quite familiar with our knowhow … to the MAX!
