Faymonville expands the MultiMAX Plus range with a powerful highlight: the Flip-Tail ramp. In combination with the hydraulic lifting platform for easy access to the neck - that is now also lowerable by 290 mm for higher machines - it has been specially developed for the flexible transport of lifting equipment.
The new component on the semi low-loader combines compactness with additional loading space – perfectly suited for mobile aerial platforms, work platforms, and forklifts.
“With the new Flip-Tail ramp, we enable our customers to transport lifting equipment much more efficiently and, above all, more flexibly. It is simply twice as strong: either as a ramp or as a loading surface,” explains Rainer Noe, Product Manager at Faymonville.
The hydraulically foldable rear can be used either as a classic ramp or – in a horizontal position – provide an additional loading area of 3,000 millimeters. If not needed, it can be folded up, shortening the vehicle by 2,400 mm. Users thus gain maneuverability and agility – especially valuable in tight urban areas and factory premises. And in terms of stability, the Flip-Tail ramp also convinces: its load capacity of up to 10 tons ensures impressive robustness.
Twice as strong – as a loading surface or a ramp
The low approach angle of only nine degrees offers ideal conditions, even when ground clearance is limited. The full-surface grating contributes to a significant weight reduction and is optimal for driving machines with solid rubber tires up and down. Numerous lashing possibilities ensure secure fixing of the machines during transport.
All hydraulic functions can be conveniently controlled via remote control. The hydraulic ramp slide-out is three-part and lockable in different combinations. It can be adjusted to the width of the unloading ramp with just a few simple steps – a decisive advantage for loading in halls, at docks, or at freight forwarders without ground-level access.
The semi-low loader with Flip-Tail ramp is also available with BPW Active Reverse Control, ensuring safer and easier maneuvering when reversing.
With the new Flip-Tail ramp, Faymonville sets a clear sign for more efficiency, safety, and flexibility in lifting equipment transport.
