Reunions are always a pleasure! Accordingly, the visit of the WASEL team to the plant in Luxembourg was particularly enjoyable, where the company took delivery of five new vehicles – including a detailed vehicle briefing and a stay in the familiar relaxed and welcoming “Faymily” atmosphere.
For fleet manager Oliver Gomann, the long-standing cooperation with the Faymonville Group is based on a solid foundation in many respects: “Quality and service are simply right – that’s why we chose trailers from Faymonville.”
New possibilities with the VarioMAX
As is well known, Faymonville offers an extensive range of low-loaders for a wide variety of transport requirements. With the new 1+3-axle VarioMAX low-loader with a basic width of 2,750 mm, LRT cranes will now be transported in the telescopic low bed.
“And there will also be excavators that previously could not be transported at all or only with larger vehicles,” explains Gomann.
For loading and unloading, the front bogie can be quickly uncoupled. For empty runs, it can then simply be loaded onto the low bed with the tractor unit – keeping the overall length as compact as possible.
Versatility as a key advantage
In addition, three MultiMAX semi low-loaders were also ready for handover. “A real multi-purpose machine,” emphasizes Oliver Gomann, highlighting the flexibility that makes this vehicle type a true all-rounder.
The quintet is completed by a 2-axle MegaMAX low-loader, further expanding the WASEL portfolio.
With its core competencies in heavy haulage logistics and crane services, WASEL has been part of the Hagedorn Group for several years. The new vehicles from the Faymonville Group join an already existing fleet – including extensive CombiMAX modular combinations, VarioMAX units in a 2+4 configuration, and several MAX410 ballast trailers.
Many thanks for the trust and the strong cooperation. We are already looking forward to spectacular images from future operations!
