For almost 100 years, KUTTER, headquartered in Memmingen, southern Bavaria, has been firmly rooted in the German construction industry. With determination, commitment, and foresight, KUTTER continually sets new benchmarks. This effort is supported by technologically advanced and, above all, reliable transport equipment – recently once again found at Faymonville. This year, five vehicles have joined the fleet for milling and construction machinery transport.
Two MultiMAX Plus and three MultiMAX units
It started with two 3-axle MultiMAX Plus semi-trailers for smaller milling machines. Equipped with hydraulically extendable double ramps with low approach angles, grid flooring, and two stop blocks for form-fit loading, these trailers are perfectly suited for this purpose. For the next class of milling machines, two air-suspended and friction steered, 4-axle MultiMAX semi-trailers with ramps complete the fleet.
Single-wheel suspension for construction tasks
Meanwhile, the construction division received a new 1+4-axle MultiMAX, featuring several technical highlights: telescopic loading platform, rubber deck and ramps, wheel and excavator recesses, and Twin Axle II single-wheel suspension. This feature enables a particularly low loading height of only 780 millimeters at 12 tonnes axle load. The robust steel surface is ideal for heavy construction machinery, and the hydraulic gooseneck provides sufficient clearance for road humps or uneven terrain, even with long combinations.
