With vehicles from the Faymonville Group, all components of a wind turbine can be moved in a time and cost efficient way. The Japanese company Achiha Co., Ltd. located in Osaka benefits from this winning combination.
On their new 3+4 G-SL modular axle lines with drawbar system by Faymonville, they put on the flatbed a new bladelifter by Cometto. With this impressive convoy, they will transport from now on the wind blades on their last miles to the building site.
Achiha Co., Ltd. has a huge experience in wind industry projects and this new equipment from the Faymonville Group allows them to move forward new installations in Japan.
To guarantee a perfect handling of this high-tech material, the team from the Faymonville Group came along for a detailed instruction session.
With the new bladelifter from the BladeMAX650 series, rotor blades can be picked up, raised up to an angle of almost 90°, swivelled and rotated by 360° around their own axis. A third vertical rotary axis enables a lateral swivel angle of 20°.
Thanks to the levering device, the position of the centre of gravity remains absolutely stable when the blade is moved from the vertical to a horizontal position. A perfect handling stability is guaranteed by the stability control system.
Thank you to our Japanese partner Bando Motor Industry Co., Ltd. for handling this project successfully. We move the wind industry! 😊
