As is well known, Faymonville has an extensive low-loader programme that is designed for the height-optimised transport of a wide variety of goods.
Exactly the right environment for the German heavy load specialist WASEL, based in Bergheim near Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia. A team of drivers now came to the Faymonville plant in Büllingen to take delivery of a new 2+4 combination.
With this VarioMAX low loader in 2,750 mm basic width, loads of up to 64 tonnes can be transported on the telescopic lowbed. In the future, heavy construction machinery, industrial goods and wind power components will be transported on this vehicle in everyday working life at WASEL.
The rear bogie is equipped with a wide and deep excavator trough in which an excavator arm can be placed. The front bogie can be quickly uncoupled for loading and unloading. For empty runs, it can then be easily loaded onto the lowbed using the tractor unit to keep the overall length as compact as possible.
WASEL is also relying on Faymonville technology for future heavy-duty tasks. This is because a huge CombiMAX combination with 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-axle bogies as well as a flatbed and an Add-On-Beam extension beam will follow during the year.
WASEL is one of the 30 largest companies in the world in the heavy load logistics and crane business. The new Faymonville vehicles provide new possibilities and a real plus in everyday work.
We thank you for your trust and are looking forward to seeing spectacular pictures in action!
