“We bought one vehicle specifically to transport dredging pipelines with a length up to 19 meters, diameters up to 2.6 meters and weights up to 30 ton”, declares Transport Manager Luc Pieters.
“The other 2 flatbed trailers were acquired for our subsidiary Soetaert to transport long and heavy sheet piles and milling machines. The observance of all safety aspects is a crucial point for their missions”, as he confirms.
“The location of the correct lashing eyes was important in this regard.”
