Spedition Vossmann takes over low bed quintet

The Faymonville Group has been doing business with the company from Prinzhöfte for over 20 years.

Managing Director Manfred Vossmann and his Technical Manager Swen Siefken have always been in contact with Faymonville when new challenges arise in the transport industry.

Vossmann finds his solutions in the complete portfolio of the Faymonville Group. Over the years, the choice has already fallen on a wide variety of designs with almost 100 MegaMAX low beds, around 30 TeleMAX telescopic flatbed trailers or an extensive, modular CombiMAX.

VarioMAX low loaders, which Vossmann has now strengthened with the purchase of a total of five 2+4 units, ensure high payload options.

Vossmann uses the new fleet in its striking grass green colour primarily for transporting wind power components.

The vehicles have a basic width of 2,740 millimetres and are designed as vessel bridge variants with outer beams. The loading floor with hardwood cover between the outer beams is removable and divided into three elements.

The 8,000 millimetre-long lowbed can be telescoped by a further 5,000 millimetres, which provides additional options. The front 2-axle bogie can be uncoupled for accessing machines and placed on the lowbed via a tractor unit without the aid of a crane when travelling empty.

The 17.5" pendle-axles are indispensable for this type of vehicle, as their 600 millimetre stroke and 60 degree steering angle provide the necessary manoeuvrability when transporting loads weighing several tons through difficult terrain.

We are always delighted when long-standing partners rely on the expertise of our products when planning their future.

The driver quintet received extensive instruction in Lentzweiler and are now already on the road with the new low loaders. Have a good journey!
