Kahl Schwerlast GmbH from Moers (Germany) is one of the European specialists in the handling of demanding special and heavy lift projects.
Thanks to the acquisition of two self-steering dolly combinations from Faymonville, the company can now expand its service range.
Long and heavy – when you have to transport something that fits that description, using a FlexMAX self-steering dolly is the ideal solution.
The two new self-steering trailers for Kahl are 3+5 combinations for the transport of self-supporting loads, such as steel beams, bridge elements or concrete girders.
Flexibility and low loading height
The vehicles are equipped with air suspension and provided with an adjustable steering system that follows the tractor autonomously.
The FlexMAX owes its name to its great flexibility in adapting to diverse cargo lengths. Furthermore, the combination from Kahl is characterized by the low loading height thanks to the use of 17.5” tires.
Ideal to transport self-supporting loads
These FlexMAX combinations can transport even the most extreme loads of considerable weights by using a 3-axle front dolly and a 5-axle dolly at the rear.
Thanks to maximum agility and ideal maneuverability, circular handling and narrow curves are no longer an obstacle.
