# With 150 tons through the desert

Groupe Chakour is a major player in logistics in Algeria.

Recently, the task was to transport a **150 ton tank** with a length of 18.5 metres.

From the port of Arzew to a location in the south-east of Algeria, the combination with a total weight of 184 tonnes had to cover a **distance of 1,600 kilometres**.

Chakour opted for a combination of **10 ModulMAX G-SL modular axle lines**, which are robust and flexible enough for this kind of challenge in a special context.
