# Coesens operating cross-border with 2+5 lowbed combination

The new VarioMAX lowbed transported a 70 tons excavator.

For the Belgian company **Jan Coesens Transport**, part of the Capelle Group, transport missions through different countries are a regular task.

This excavator had to be moved from the Netherlands to France. The starting point was in Groot Ammers, near Rotterdam.

From here, the red rig with the yellow freight had to travel around 250 kilometres across Belgium to the destination in Seclin in the North of France.

It was one of the first projects with their new 2+5 VarioMAX [lowbed combination](/products/lowbed-trailer/variomax/) that is designed to **transport heavy machinery**.

The **70-ton excavator** had a width of 4 meters, a height of 4 meters and a length of 9 meters. A great job in line with the Coesens slogan: Nothing is too big for us!
