# In South Africa, it’s all … to the MAX!

Vanguard with new trailers from Faymonville and Cometto.

Cool to see this yellow-painted [MultiMAX](/products/semi-trailer/multimax/)in action in South Africa, where heavy-transport and rigging specialist **Vanguard** has added two of these **7-axle vehicles** to its fleet.

The semi-trailers feature a [hydraulic gooseneck](/technology/gooseneck/the-hydraulic-outer-beam-neck-w-at/) for top maneuverability, an [extendable loading platform](/technology/loading-area/the-extendable-loading-platform/), a [reinforced steel deck](/technology/loading-area/the-loading-platform-coverings/), and [removable ramps](/technology/ramps/double-ramps/)for easy machinery loading. The project shown here took place in Coega Port, where several wind-turbine nacelles are being transported to their installation site.

Alongside these two new Faymonville semi low loaders, Vanguard also recently took delivery of **32 [SPMT](https://www.cometto.com/products/modular-systems/spmt-self-propelled-modular-transporter/)axle lines** and power pack units from Cometto.

South Africa’s growing **wind-energy projects** demand reliable heavy-transport solutions, and Vanguard is tackling these oversized loads with ambition and the necessary transport technology.
