As a manufacturer of lowbed trailers and low loaders for heavy and special transport, Faymonville builds every MegaMAX to order for applications in construction, industry, energy, rail, agriculture, forestry and other demanding sectors.
MegaMAX Key Facts
The MegaMAX combines two different gooseneck types, seven lowbed deck versions and three bogie technologies with 1 to 5 axles, plus an optional 1 or 2-axle front dolly if needed.
Central beam neck
The central beam neck is the choice for heavy loads on construction and industrial sites. It couples easily, even on difficult terrain, and is required when a 1 or 2-axle dolly is added. It stands for high stability, simple coupling and safe handling.
Outer beam neck
The outer beam neck keeps the overall combination length compact and leaves loading space between the outer beams, which suits industrial goods. It allows a 1-axle dolly and is available for lowbeds with up to 3 axles.
Both goosenecks come with a hydraulic screw coupling and a spare wheel as standard, and the outer beam neck adds removable steel ramps.
Low bed versions
The MegaMAX lowbed comes in seven deck versions and several payload categories, so the loading area matches the load:
Bogie technologies
Choose the bogie by transport task and route profile: knuckle steering, hydraulic pendle-axle or independent wheel suspension Twin Axle II. Each option balances manoeuvrability, ground clearance and axle load differently.
The excavator trough
Every bogie type includes a large, deep excavator trough as standard. The boom of an excavator or demolition machine rests in the trough, which cuts the total transport height considerably and helps loads pass under bridges and power lines.
